Lending a Hand!

I had an amazing morning helping out over at the Mount Gilead Food Pantry!

The Food Pantry does incredible work handing out supplemental food to families in our community, so if you ever feel called to service, I would definitely recommend checking them out. They are staffed completely by volunteers, and they meet every Saturday morning from about 7:00 to 9:30 or so.

These folks are out there every week making awesome things happen for the people of Mount Gilead, and I'm really grateful that I had a chance to help out with that today. So grateful, in fact, that I'll be going back next week. Because it turns out that being helpful actually feels pretty dang good. ;-)
