I am dedicated to helping this town grow. Little steps over time can make a big impact, take shopping local, which helps lift all businesses. Shopping local is an important part of supporting our community. Check out this wonderful tropical arrangement from our Mount Gilead Florist, and the lovely candle in a jar is from Amber Lynn Boutique, both downtown and convenient. Even the antique school desk was locally sourced. Making a difference isn't always about huge impact, little daily connections can make the biggest impact over time.
Whether your support looks like socializing at Burger Shack, Speckled Paw, Storyteller Book Company, and Cotton and Wood or shopping for gifts at Frames on Main, or getting home decor at Corner Decor and More, or finding treasure at the Veranda, The Antique Mall, Thrifty Pickle, Second Chance Thrift Store, and Memory Lane… this town has a ton of ways to shop locally. And that's not anywhere close to mentioning every business available downtown.
For more information, I would recommend checking out the Merchants portion of the Town's Website where you can find more shopping ideas. My wife recently updated the Town's Website to help uplift both Town Hall and the people who are working to make this town a better place to live.
